Hopes and Dreams

Last week I didn't get round to doing both of the blog prompts set my BritMums! I know, I know, slap my wrist, but I was just so busy, yet I cannot remember what I spent my week doing!!

I WILL do both prompts this week! I promise!!

So, first up, Personal prompt! BritMums have given us the prompt of:

"What are your hopes and dreams for yourself, your family/and or your children? 

How can you help to make it happen?"

Those who know me, will already know my answer to this question. It has been my dream since I was a little girl.It has been fuelled by many trips, P's passion also, friends there, property there, and more recently, family there.

To us, we feel its a better way of life for our children. We feel we can give them more there, than we can here. The educational system seems a lot better than what is here as well as everything else.

So, what is my our hope and dream? Easy... Our Hope and Dream is to be able to Emigrate to the USA!

We know its not easy. We know its very difficult to get there. We have researched, and have found a way that is viable. Costly, but viable.

P is extremely close with his brother, and I know my brother in law and sister in law miss the children terribly. They have only ever met K twice (she is nearly 5) and they have never met A. They would like children of their own one day, and I know how hard it will be for P to not be there as much as he would like.

There isn't much holding us back here. I don't have any parents around and my sisters are grown up and got their own lives, so as much as I would miss them...they can always come visit...plus they'll have each other when I'm gone too.

I would like us to be there within 5years, before J starts High School. Otherwise, I think we'll be up against them not wanting to come with us. It is a dream that we are determined to happen! We know it will be for the best for our family in all aspects!!

So there it is! Our Hope and Dream for our family!!

That's a fantastic dream which sounds like it will become a reality for you all. I love the USA and would love to live there too but can't convince my hubby LOL
